About Us

Welcome to Our World of Adventure! 🌍 The Origin Story 🚐 Picture this: It’s 2020, the world has gone sideways, and I’m bouncing off the walls every weekend because we only have one car. What’s a restless soul to do? Obviously, buy a mini-van and turn it into a rolling home! What started as pandemic-induced cabin fever quickly evolved into something magical. After just a few trips, I realized these adventures were becoming some of our most treasured memories—but they were all starting to blur together in that wonderful, hazy way that incredible experiences do. That’s when it hit me: I needed to capture these moments, not just for us, but to share the joy with friends and family who couldn’t always join us on the road.

Campsite reviews

Pemrose State park - 19 campsites. Near the beach and great paddling opportunities nearby. Nearby is Kopachuck State Park (includes Cutts island state park) - No camping. The park has a big beach and it’s a quick paddle to Cutts island state park - a small island with lots of birds primarily Canada Geese. Larabee State Park - great campground near the railroad a the north end of Chuckanut bay. Great hiking nearby and would be a good paddling spot (I think) in good weather.

Poems

The plight of twins Let me tell you a story I know of a boy named Sammy C, He was born in Kentucky in a town called bowling green, Strong and smart and quick as a lark he’d make his parents proud, He never quit and he could take a lick no-one you’d ever seen. Well Sammy C had a problem see he’d been born with a tough decree, He’d never met his parents or any one of his family three, He was born an orphan in the birthing house of bowling green, He’d been adopted by parents that were somehow related to swine.
