Moscow Mule

A Moscow Mule, also known as a Vodka buck, is a cocktail made with high-quality vodka, spicy ginger beer, and lime juice, garnished with a slice or wedge of lime. It is traditionally served in a copper mug.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz Vodka
  • 4 oz Ginger beer
  • 1/6 oz Lime juice
  • Lime slice for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a copper mug or highball glass with ice
  2. Add vodka and lime juice
  3. Top with ginger beer
  4. Stir gently and garnish with a lime slice

Served: On the rocks

The Heated Affair

This hot tequila-and-cider concoction will warm you head to toe - perfect for cold weather.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Partida Añejo Tequila
  • 6 oz Hot Spiced Apple Cider*
  • Heavy cream (for floating)

Garnish

  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • Cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Add tequila and hot spiced cider to a pre-warmed Irish Coffee glass
  2. Float a little heavy cream on top
  3. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg and a cinnamon stick

Hot Spiced Apple Cider Recipe

Heat organic apple juice in a small saucepan over low heat. Add winter spices like cloves, cinnamon sticks, allspice and orange peel as desired. Cook for about 15 minutes and strain before using.


Whiskey Sour

A classic sour cocktail with the perfect balance of sweet, sour, and whiskey flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 3/4 oz Fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz Simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water)
  • 1 Egg white
  • Orange slice and cherry for garnish

Instructions

  1. Dry shake all ingredients (without ice) first
  2. Add ice and shake again vigorously
  3. Strain into a lowball glass with 1 large ice cube
  4. Garnish with orange slice and cherry

Oaxacan Hot Chocolate

A rich, spiced hot chocolate with a tequila kick - perfect for winter evenings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Milk
  • 3 oz Ibarra Oaxacan Chocolate
  • 6 tablespoons Cocoa powder (such as Scharffen Berger)
  • 2 tablespoons Cane sugar
  • 1/8-1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 4 oz Cazadores Añejo tequila

For Whipped Cream

  • 1/2 cup Heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon Fine sugar
  • Pinch of espresso salt
  • Ground cinnamon

Instructions

For the Hot Chocolate:

  1. Warm milk in a medium saucepan, watching carefully
  2. Add cayenne pepper
  3. Add Oaxacan chocolate, cocoa powder, and cane sugar
  4. Heat and stir with a molinillo (traditional whisk)
  5. Season with additional cayenne and add a pinch of salt

For the Whipped Cream:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, fine sugar, espresso salt, and cinnamon
  2. Whip until soft peaks form

To Serve:

  1. Make hot chocolate and whipped cream 15 minutes in advance
  2. Add hot chocolate and tequila to a preheated snifter
  3. Top with whipped cream, cinnamon, and salt

Brandy Milk Punch

A creamy, comforting cocktail with a rich history in New Orleans.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Brandy or bourbon
  • 2 oz Cold meringue milk
  • 1/4 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Confectioners sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh nutmeg for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a mixing pint
  2. Shake until chilled
  3. Strain into a pre-chilled cup
  4. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg

Meringue Milk Recipe

Makes 2 1/2 cups

  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice

Combine milk and lemon juice, let sit until slightly curdled.


Sparkling Vin Maison

An elegant sparkling cocktail with homemade orange wine and blood orange.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 oz Big gin
  • 1 oz Blood orange juice
  • 1 1/2 oz Orange Vin Maison
  • Dash of Fee Brothers orange bitters
  • Pinch of salt
  • Soda water

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients except soda water to mixing pint
  2. Add ice and shake until chilled
  3. Strain into pre-chilled glass
  4. Top with soda water

Orange Vin Maison Recipe

  • 6 2/3 bottles French-style rosé or dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Semillon)
  • 1 pint High-proof vodka
  • 2 cups Granulated sugar
  • 2 Indian vanilla beans
  • 1 Lemon, cut into pieces
  • Peels from 6 medium Seville or bitter oranges

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a clean, dry, wide-mouthed glass jar or ceramic crock
  2. Cover and store in a cool, dark place for one month
  3. Turn upside down or stir daily for the first week until sugar dissolves
  4. Strain through cheesecloth into bottles
  5. Cork bottles and refrigerate upright for one month
  6. Decant before serving

Mint Margarita

A refreshing twist on the classic margarita with fresh mint.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Chopped mint leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 4 cups Crushed ice
  • 1 1/2 cups Good-quality tequila
  • 1 cup Fresh lime juice (from about 8 limes)
  • 1 cup Triple Sec

Instructions

  1. In a large 2-quart pitcher, crush mint and salt together using the back of a wooden spoon
  2. Add ice
  3. Add tequila, lime juice, and Triple Sec
  4. Stir vigorously
  5. Serve in short tumblers or wine glasses

Serves: Multiple (pitcher recipe)


Mint Julep

The classic Southern cocktail, perfect for Derby Day.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons (1 oz) Club soda
  • 2 heaping teaspoons Superfine sugar
  • 15 Fresh mint leaves, plus 5 small sprigs for garnish
  • 6 tablespoons (3 oz) Bernheim or other high-quality whiskey
  • 2 cups Crushed ice

Instructions

  1. In a julep cup, stir club soda and sugar until sugar begins to dissolve
  2. Add mint leaves and gently press into sugar syrup using a muddler until slightly darkened (don’t completely crush)
  3. Add whiskey
  4. Fill cup with crushed ice and stir briefly with a long spoon
  5. Tuck mint sprigs into top of cup and insert short straw

Old Fashioned

The quintessential whiskey cocktail - simple, classic, and timeless.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Bourbon whiskey
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 splash Water
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 Maraschino cherry
  • 1 Orange wedge

Instructions

  1. In an old-fashioned glass, mix sugar, water, and Angostura bitters
  2. Add cherry and orange wedge
  3. Muddle into a paste using a muddler or spoon back
  4. Pour in bourbon
  5. Fill with ice cubes and stir

An elegant champagne cocktail that’s perfect for celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Gin
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Superfine sugar
  • Champagne
  • Lemon twist for garnish

Instructions

  1. Shake gin, lemon juice, and sugar in a cocktail shaker with ice
  2. Strain into a coupe glass
  3. Top with champagne
  4. Garnish with a lemon twist

Grand Autumn

A seasonal cocktail with rye whiskey and elderflower that captures autumn flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Rye whiskey
  • 1 oz Elderflower liqueur (St. Germain)
  • 3/4 oz Fresh lime juice
  • 3 oz Ginger beer
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters (for float)

Instructions

  1. Shake rye, elderflower liqueur, and lime juice in an ice-filled shaker
  2. Strain into an ice-filled Collins glass
  3. Top with ginger beer
  4. Float 2 dashes of Angostura bitters on top as garnish
